Bayer Schering Pharma launches drawing competition for young people impacted by MS
On World MS day, May 26th, Bayer Schering Pharma has launched of the Dreams for My Family contest for young artists impacted by MS. The global art competition allows children whose lives are affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) to express their future dreams for their families. The artwork of one winner will be featured on a t-shirt that will be sold worldwide, with proceeds going to MS advocacy associations around the world
The contest is open to anyone up to age 17 years old who is living with MS or has a parent or relative with the disease.
MS typically manifests in young adults. Yet, in some patients the disease can start in childhood. In addition, a diagnosis of MS in adults can have a deep impact on their families, including children.
Our goal is to show that with effective disease management and patient support, people whose lives are impacted by MS can have a positive outlook on their future.
“Through ongoing education and support programs as well as research and development into effective therapies, Bayer is a committed partner to the MS advocacy community. We’re proud to sponsor this art contest and to be working with MS organizations from around the world to give a voice to the young people whose lives are affected by MS and provide funding to support research and education,” said Doreen Schröder, spokesperson of Bayer Schering Pharma.
